About Pearls and a Crown
A few months ago I had a desire to start sharing ways my life has been influenced by Jesus Christ and things I learn about God and my Savior in my scripture studies. I originally thought it would be a podcast, but I enjoy writing my thoughts much better than speaking them. As I was in the designing stage of things, the name Pearls and a Crown spoke to me and then I read Phillippians 4:1 "Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved." That scripture sealed it for me. Now here we are, two weeks after the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the whole world is standing up and testifying of our Lord. I'm so grateful I was prepared to be a part of that movement!
This site is a place to explore the beauty of God's influence in my life and share the lessons I've learned on my journey of faith, aka mortal life. I will share stories of grace, wisdom, and the power of God's love. I'm Somebody and So Are You!
Getting To Know Me
Growing up there was a sign on our fridge that said "I know I'm somebody, 'cause God don't make no junk!" That saying has been in my head all these years, but it has taken time for it to have true meaning. I've always struggled with confidence and self-esteem, but have learned how to navigate through that as I have developed a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ. I give all credit to Him for any content on this site that you find helpful. It's my strongest desire to be an instrument in His hands in spreading His love and kindness!
